Grateful doesn’t begin to cover it! Getting to glam Americas Sweetheart, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Kennedy Hannan for her rehearsal dinner and wedding was such a dream!
For Kennedys rehearsal dinner glam at Cedar Ridge Winery, we decided to keep it super simple on the eyes and really focus on gorgeous, perfectly smooth matte skin. With Kennedy being a longtime dancer, she knows exactly how she likes her glam and trusted me from early on, after her first bridal trial.

Kennedy and Nolan wed at The Midnight Gem in Swisher, Iowa, one of my most common and favorite venues to work at. The bride’s vision was clear from the beginning, she wanted a look that felt timeless, soft and simple, and true to herself. We knew she didn’t want to be as full glam as on football game days, but still a couple steps up from natural.
The star of the show was Kennedys wonderful soft matte complexion, simple and neutral eye, and her signature long lashes. We achieved her simple bridal eye look with the Natasha Denona Texture & Tone palette and Royal Silk Lashes. For her completion, we used the Estee Lauder foundation and Charlotte Tilbury Concealer. The trick to getting her glam looking as amazing at 11pm as it did at 11am, is using thin buildable layers of cream products and setting all of them with powder products and finishing with a heavy duty setting spray.
It was so wonderful to get to know Kennedy, her sisters, and mom throughout this process and it was an honor to glam them as well.
Kennedy was a true Barbie bride and my heart is so full to have been a part of her special day!
